Hospital Chaplains

Spiritual care and support are provided to patients, relatives and staff in hospitals and other healthcare settings by both whole-time and part-time chaplains.

Nursing staff should ask patients if they wish pastoral visits by their minister or hospital chaplain. However, please remember to inform your local minister if admitted to hospital as ministers no longer have access to admissions lists and may not be aware of your admission.

There are chaplains available at the following hospitals:
• Ayr Hospital:
Rev Paul Russell

• Crosshouse Hospital, Kilmarnock
Rev. Judith Huggett, Crosshouse Hospital, Kilmarnock. Tel: 01563 521133

They can be contacted via the hospital or through the Presbytery Clerk (details on Contacts page).
